The CSO must meet the minimum standards for Community Supervision Officers in Texas, as stated in Standards TDCJ-CJAD, Article 163.33 and Government Code Chapter 76, Section 76.005; must have the ability to efficiently utilize word processing software and other specialized software programs necessary for communication, reporting and record keeping requirements of Community Supervision Officers in this Department. The CSO I will have good verbal and written skills and must have interpersonal skills necessary to deal with clients, public, co-workers, court personnel and personnel of other agencies and Departments.

We are looking for someone to fill a full-time LPC, LPC-Associate, or NCE candidate position. This is a great opportunity for newly licensed interns and NCE candidates who are wanting to get hours for full license and get PAID. There are many additional perks such as paid time for supervision attendance, possible compensation for supervision hour fees, opportunities to develop new programs/curriculum, CEU training opportunities, compensation for licensing fees and renewals, working in a creative and collaborative environment. The department is interested in NCE candidates, LPC-Associate and LPCs.
